Text size

Scale the whole interface up for easier reading — two sizes above the default.

Font

Switch the primary heading + body font. Font 1 (default) is Barlow; Font 2 is Inter; Font 3 is Rajdhani. Numeric readouts stay monospace.

List columns

Desktop only — how many list tiles per row on the home screen.

Colour scheme

Preset

Recolours the three accent families the interface is built on. Surfaces and body text stay put, so a scheme changes the mood without hurting readability.

Build a scheme with the pickers below, then save it under a name. Click a saved scheme to swap to it; ✕ deletes it. Saved schemes sync across your devices.

Each pick derives its own hover and wash tints, nudged for contrast against whichever surface is active — so a scheme built in dark mode still reads in light.

List Export

Include wargear

List each unit’s weapons and selected wargear items in the text export. Turn off for a compact, names-and-points list. Enhancements and upgrades are always included either way.

Roster Building

Vibrate (on supported phones) when you add a unit. A brief on-screen confirmation always shows regardless.

Auto-equip free wargear

When a unit is added, automatically include free optional wargear that doesn’t replace anything (e.g. hunter-killer missile, havoc launcher, icons). Weapon swaps, paid options, and choices between multiple free items are left for you to pick.

About

Ironbuilt was created by players, for players.

Like a lot of us, I got into this hobby young, pulled in by the breathtaking artwork that filled the codexes. Those pages were half the magic. But somewhere along the way through 10th edition, I realized that art had quietly disappeared from how we actually play the game. I was building lists in sterile, lifeless software and bringing those to the table. The only place that art still lived was in a codex I'd buy once, read cover to cover, and then leave on a shelf, because the apps had replaced it everywhere that mattered for playing the game.

My friends and I decided that wasn't good enough. We wanted to bring the art back to the game we love, and we knew that in turn, as players ourselves, we could use this as an opportunity to build the list-building app we always wanted.

So we did. We brought together a team of players and software developers and set out to build our dream. Ironbuilt is that dream made manifest, and we hope it proves as helpful to you as it has been to us.

We're also committed to player feedback. Did you notice a bug? We'll work to resolve it ASAP. Think of an improvement or feature you want to see? Let us know and we'll seriously consider it. This app is not a flash in the pan. It has a team of committed, dedicated players invested in making it the best it possibly can be.
