IRONBUILT ("the app") is an army list builder. This policy explains what data we collect and how it is used.
The short version: your army lists are yours. We do not build profiles of individual users, we do not sell or share your data, and we do not use advertising or third-party tracking networks. Nothing described below is ever used to identify you or to follow what you personally do.
IRONBUILT does not require an account. You can build and save army lists locally on your device with no sign-up of any kind.
Optionally, you may create a free profile using an email address and password. Creating an account enables cross-device sync for your army lists and settings.
Without an account: We do not collect personal information. Your army lists are saved locally on your device using browser storage and are not sent anywhere, unless you choose to use a feature that sends them (see below).
With an account: We collect and store your email address, password (encrypted), army lists, and app settings. This data is stored securely using Supabase and is used to provide the account features you asked for, chiefly cross-device sync. We do not sell or share this data with third parties.
Features you choose to use: some features send data because that is what they do. Sharing a list (by link or QR code) uploads that list so the person you send it to can open it. Reporting a bug or suggesting a data correction sends your message, the app context you were looking at (such as the faction, detachment or unit on screen), your browser and app version, and — only if you tick the box — a copy of the list you were working on. You may include an email address so we can reply; it is used for that reply and nothing else, and it is never published. You may optionally supply a public credit name for the community dataset's contribution log; that name, and only that name, is published if your suggestion is used.
IRONBUILT can contribute anonymous, aggregate information about army composition and games played, so that the community can see how the game is being played across all players. This is reported only in aggregate, across everybody.

You can turn this off at any time in Settings. It does not change how the app works for you either way.
IRONBUILT contains no advertising, no advertising networks, and no third-party tracking or cross-site tracking technologies. We do not follow you around the internet, and we do not build a profile of you.
You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app, or by contacting us at iron.built.app@gmail.com. Local data can be cleared through your device's browser storage settings.
Anonymous aggregate statistics cannot be deleted on request, because they contain nothing that identifies you: once collected there is no way to find "your" entries, as no such link exists. If you would rather not contribute them at all, switch them off in Settings.
The app is hosted on Netlify, which may log standard server access logs (IP address, request path, timestamp) as part of normal hosting operations. These logs are subject to Netlify's Privacy Policy. We do not copy those logs into our own records or join them to anything described above. Account data, shared lists, bug reports and community statistics are stored via Supabase.
The community game dataset the app loads on first run is fetched from a public repository over a content delivery network. Requesting it is an ordinary web request; we do not receive an identity with it.
IRONBUILT does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. The app contains fantasy violence themes appropriate for ages 12 and older.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised date.
